Hawks Explode Late, Raptors Fall 17–7

OGDEN, UT — September 6, 2025 — A back-and-forth battle unraveled in the late innings Saturday night at Lindquist Field, as the Boise Hawks piled on nine runs in the eighth inning to take down the Ogden Raptors 17–7.
Ogden showed fight early, answering a three-run Boise first with two of their own on a Damian Stone RBI single and a sacrifice fly from Carmine Lane.
Lane later delivered the highlight of the night for the Raptors, blasting a three-run homer in the fourth to tie the game at 5–5. He finished with four RBIs to pace the offense, while Connor Bagnieski drove in a run and reached base four times.
Kenny Oyama collected two hits and stole two bases, and Cole Jordan added a hit and a walk in the effort, but Boise’s relentless attack, led by Max Jung-Goldberg (homer, double, three RBIs), Taylor Darden (three hits, three RBIs), and Paul Myro IV (three hits, three RBIs), proved too much.
The Hawks put the game out of reach with seven hits in the decisive eighth inning, capped by back-to-back homers from Darden and Cameron Dayton.
The Raptors will look to close the regular season on a high note tomorrow afternoon at Lindquist Field, where it’s Free Food Sunday, the final promotion of the year, where fans can enjoy free concessions as Ogden wraps up its 2025 regular season slate before turning their focus to the postseason.
